In just a few minutes, you'll set the foundation for an app experience tailored specifically to you: activities that match your interests, content that respects your boundaries, and recommendations that actually resonate. This isn't generic onboarding—it's the beginning of your personalized path to deeper intimacy.

What is the Discovery Journey?

The Discovery Journey is a guided questionnaire that:

  • Learns about your relationship status
  • Understands your role preferences
  • Gauges your experience level
  • Personalizes your app experience

Completing it results in better activity recommendations and a more tailored experience.

When to Take the Discovery Journey

During Onboarding

New users are invited to complete the Discovery Journey after:

  1. Creating an account
  2. Verifying age
  3. Accepting terms

Skipping and Returning

  • You can skip the Journey initially
  • Return anytime via Profile > Complete Discovery Journey
  • Your preferences can be set manually without the Journey

Changing Your Answers

Updating Preferences Later

Your Discovery Journey answers become your preferences. To change them:

  1. Go to Profile > Preferences
  2. Find the relevant setting:
    • Role Preferences
    • Language Settings
    • Experience Level
  3. Update as needed
  4. Changes apply immediately

Retaking the Journey

To redo the entire Journey:

  1. Go to Profile > Preferences
  2. Tap Retake Discovery Journey (if available)
  3. Complete the questions again
  4. New answers replace old ones
