The Journal provides:
- AI-generated prompts personalized to your activity ratings
- Space for reflection to process your thoughts and feelings
- Private entries that only you can see
- Progress tracking of your self-discovery journey
How Journal Prompts Work
When Prompts Appear
You'll receive journal prompts after:
- Rating activities in a category
- Completing a subcategory exploration
- Finishing certain quizzes
- Reaching exploration milestones
Personalized Prompts
Prompts are tailored based on:
- Which activities you rated highly (loved/liked)
- Which activities you passed on
- Patterns in your preferences
- Your exploration history
Example Prompts
Prompts might include:
- "You showed interest in several sensory activities. What draws you to these experiences?"
- "You passed on activities involving [category]. What boundaries are important to you here?"
- "Of the activities you loved in this category, which would you most want to try first?"
Responding to Prompts
Writing a Response
- Read the personalized prompt
- Tap the text area to start writing
- Write your thoughts (up to 500 characters)
- Tap Save to record your entry
Skipping Prompts
Not ready to reflect? You can:
- Tap Skip to dismiss the prompt
- The prompt may return later
- No penalty for skipping
Character Limit
Responses are limited to 500 characters:
- Enough for meaningful reflection
- Encourages focused, thoughtful writing
- Saves automatically as you type
Viewing Your Journal
Accessing Entries
- Go to Profile > Journal (or find in Labs)
- View all saved entries
- Entries show:
- The prompt
- Your response
- Date written
- Related activity context
Organizing Entries
Entries are organized by:
- Date - Most recent first
- Category - Grouped by activity category
- Type - Prompt type (activity, quiz, milestone)

Find specific entries:
- Tap the search icon
- Enter keywords
- Results show matching entries

Your journal is completely private:
- Only visible to you
- Not shared with partners
- Not visible to BeMoreKinky staff
- End-to-end encrypted
Data Security
- Entries stored securely on our servers
- Backed up to prevent loss
- Accessible only with your account
- Deleted if you delete your account
Editing and Deleting
Editing Entries
To modify an existing entry:
- Open the entry you want to edit
- Tap Edit
- Make your changes
- Save the updated entry
Deleting Entries
To remove an entry:
- Open the entry
- Tap Delete
- Confirm deletion
- Entry is permanently removed
Note: Deleted entries cannot be recovered.

Q: What happens to my journal if I delete my account?
A: All journal entries are permanently deleted when you delete your account.
Q: Are prompts the same for everyone?
A: No. Prompts are personalized based on your specific activity ratings and exploration history. Everyone's prompts are different.
Q: Can I export my journal?
A: Use Profile > Data & Privacy > Export Data to download your data, which includes journal entries.
Q: Why didn't I get a prompt after rating activities?
A: Prompts appear after completing a full subcategory, not after every rating. Keep rating to trigger prompts.

Prompt Not Appearing
- Complete the full subcategory (rate all activities)
- Ensure you're connected to internet
- Pull down to refresh
- The prompt may appear on your next session
Entry Not Saving
- Check internet connection
- Ensure you're within character limit
- Tap Save explicitly (don't just close)
- Wait a moment for sync confirmation
Can't Find Old Entries
- Check all filter options
- Try searching for keywords
- Scroll through the full list
- Entries are sorted by date—check older dates
Journal Section Missing
- The feature may be in Labs or Profile depending on version
- Update to the latest app version
- Check if you have entries (shows only when content exists)
- Contact support if consistently missing
