Kiiroo Keon Review: Ten Sessions In, Here Is What It Is Really Like
Disclosure: Kiiroo sent me this Keon free of charge for review. They had no say in what I wrote and did not see this before it was published.

Best for
You want stroking motion without doing the work yourself.
The verdict
The short version
I have used the Keon many, many times now: for short sessions, long edging sessions, solo with the buttons and app, and with a partner holding the phone. It worked every single time. I have to say, the stroking motion is excellent and realistic. I really appreciate the separate controls for speed and stroke length.
My verdict
Buy it
Verdict: buy it. At around $209 with a sleeve, I think it is good value, and its successor is still not in anyone's hands. I would steer away from it if you live with housemates. Some things are better without an audience through the bedroom wall.
It is also big, and you will need two hands or a conveniently placed lap. The casing turns slippery the moment lube touches it. The first time I used it I couldn't for the life of me work out how to get it into button mode, all while my partner sat there waiting. Yes, it was as awkward as it sounds. I'd still buy it.

A quick note on the specifications, because this confused me when I checked the Keon against its paperwork. You will see it listed elsewhere at 320 mm tall and 1.5 kg. Those numbers are even in Kiiroo's own manual (yes, really), but they are the old Fleshlight Launch's dimensions, carried over by mistake. The figures above are correct.
Unboxing
What came in the box
- The Keon
- The stock FeelStroker sleeve in its hard case
- A Micro-USB cable, with no wall plug
- Kiiroo water-based lube and toy cleaner
- A printed manual
You will need your own USB wall adapter, and please use a proper one. Charging from a laptop or hub is slow and unreliable with a battery pack this size.
Setup
First use: the buttons can be a bit tricky
This is my one real complaint.
The Keon powers on in interactive mode, waiting for a phone. To use the buttons, you have to switch it to manual mode using a second, much smaller button just above the power button on the back. It looks like a reset pinhole, the sort of thing you would poke with a paperclip. I struggled to get it into button mode the first time. With a partner waiting for the fun to begin, that small design flaw felt like a very, very long one.
Here is what I wish I had known:
- Hold the power button for about four seconds to turn it on. The lights come up blue.
- Hold the small mode button for about two seconds. The lights turn white. You are now in manual mode.
- Left side buttons change stroke length. Right side buttons change speed.
- A single press of the power button pauses. Press again to resume.
Do this once on your own, fully clothed, before the first real session. It becomes second nature after that, but the small button never becomes pleasant to press. The complaint appears often in the owner accounts I read, and Kiiroo has moved every control to the front on the Keon 2.

How it feels
How it feels
The motion
The motion is the best thing about the Keon. The sleeve and its case travel up and down, so you feel a proper stroke, with no vibration or squeezing involved. Speed and stroke length are independent, giving you everything from slow, long strokes to fast, short ones.
What I settled on depends on my mood:
- To finish, I use the medium stroke at a fast speed. This was the most reliable combination for me by some distance.
- To last, I use the long stroke at a slow speed, and I press pause a lot.
Now, the shorter strokes are actually much faster. The longest stroke at full speed is slower because the machine has further to travel. That is why I finish on the medium setting: it gives me a better balance of speed and movement.
In future versions, I would have loved some additional vibrations, but this definitely goes beyond the "realistic" they're looking for.
How it feels
The stock sleeve
The stock FeelStroker is soft and lined with rounded bumps. It fitted me well, neither tight nor loose, although I would have liked another, tighter option.
In the owner comparisons I read, the stock sleeve usually ranks near the bottom of Kiiroo's range. The performer-moulded FeelStars sleeves are more popular with people who want extra grip and texture. If you know you like it snug, order a second sleeve with the machine.
How it feels
Suction
The cap at the far end of the sleeve case screws in and out to control suction. I kept it fully tightened because it adds some of the grip missing from the sleeve itself.
If you find it difficult to get in with the cap closed, loosen it first, enter, then tighten it.
Partner play
With a partner
My partner controlled it from their phone while we were in the same room. Once connected, the Keon responded without any lag I could notice.
Alone, I always know what is coming next because I chose it. With my partner driving, I do not. That loss of control added a psychological edge I enjoyed far more than prodding settings for myself.
I haven't tested long-distance control over a shared link. Kiiroo says the controlling partner only needs the link. They don't need a toy of their own or to be nearby.
Handling
Holding it
I used it hand-held throughout, without a mount. I became very familiar with its weight and its determination to escape as soon as lube became involved.
- It needs two hands. Using it one-handed is awkward, and at higher speeds it develops enough momentum that you really do want a firm grip.
- Resting it on my body worked best. The base has a soft silicone edge, and letting the machine sit on my thighs or pelvis took the weight out of my hands entirely.
- Lube makes the casing slippery because the shell is glossy plastic. Put one lubed hand on it and your grip is gone, so keep a towel within reach and lube yourself and the sleeve before you pick up the machine.
Regular Keon users often end up buying a mount. I haven't tried it, but of Kiiroo's accessories, the pillow is pretty popular; opinions on the table clamp are split. Having held the Keon throughout, I understand why, although I never felt I needed one.
Noise
Noise
The noise didn't bother me, but I wouldn't use it with housemates around.
It sounds like what it is: a motor and moving carriage, getting louder as the speed rises. Behind a closed door with music or television playing, it would probably go unnoticed. In a quiet flat with thin walls, I would be too busy wondering who could hear it to relax.
Kiiroo does not publish a decibel figure. Measurements published in another review put it between roughly 43 and 68 dB depending on speed, which fits what I heard. Kiiroo's own Keon 1 versus Keon 2 video says the new model is quieter at low settings and about the same at high ones, so its successor will not solve this.
Battery
Battery and charging
I never ran the battery flat. That includes sessions lasting more than half an hour. Charging took about four hours each time.
Two things I would still flag:
- It will not run while plugged in. If it dies mid-session, the session is over, which is hardly the climax anyone was hoping for. A Kiiroo representative said on Reddit that charge-while-use was built into the first prototype and dropped because it raised the cost by up to 20%.
- Battery life was the most common complaint in the long-term owner reports I reviewed. Those reports split roughly in half between people getting under 45 minutes and people getting one to three hours. I barely had to think about it, but I charged it fully between uses and didn't run every session at top speed.
I put it on charge as soon as I had finished so it would be ready next time.
Ownership
Cleaning
Cleaning took me less than five minutes each time, which made me more willing to use it again.
- Twist the sleeve case out of the Keon.
- Pull the soft sleeve out of its hard case.
- Rinse the sleeve through with warm water and toy cleaner.
- Wipe the Keon itself with a damp cloth. Never rinse or submerge it.
Drying is the slow part. The long, soft tube holds on to water. Leave it out with both caps removed until it is completely dry, or it will begin to smell and eventually mark. This is true of every sleeve of this type, including the manual Fleshlight I compared it with.
Use water-based lube only. I used Kiiroo's own. Silicone lube damages the sleeve.
Comparison
Compared with a manual Fleshlight
I also own a manual Fleshlight.
Effort
Keon: None. It does the work.
Manual Fleshlight: All yours
Consistency
Keon: Perfectly even for as long as you want
Manual Fleshlight: Varies as your arm tires
Control
Keon: Precise steps of speed and length, plus pause
Manual Fleshlight: Infinite, but only as good as your hand
Setup
Keon: Charge it, mount the sleeve, pick a mode
Manual Fleshlight: Pick it up
Noise
Keon: Audible
Manual Fleshlight: Near silent
Cleaning
Keon: The same sleeve routine, plus wiping the machine
Manual Fleshlight: Sleeve only
Partner use
Keon: They can drive it from a phone
Manual Fleshlight: They can hold it
Price
Keon: About $209
Manual Fleshlight: A fraction of that
The sleeve sensation is broadly similar. The extra money buys the motorised motion and the ability to hand control to someone else. If you don't want either, a manual sleeve is still a perfectly good toy.
Long term
After ten sessions
It's still good, although the novelty has faded.
The first few sessions were a little astonishing. By the tenth, the Keon was a very good toy I knew well, and the motion was still just as effective. Compared to a lot of toys for women which often have many different vibration settings, it's sometimes sad to only have suction and stroking!
Durability
What ten sessions cannot tell you
I had no faults: no error lights, new noises or charging problems. The sleeve never worked loose, and I saw none of the rubbing described by some owners. Ten sessions is not a durability test, so the points below come from long-term owners. I did not experience any of them myself.
- Charging and power failures are the most common serious complaint. Some units arrive dead, while others stop charging after a year or two. Kiiroo generally replaces them inside the warranty period if you send a video showing the fault.
- Some owners find that the sleeve lip scrapes against the inside of the machine and leaves residue. The usual fix is a small ring, either 3D printed or the one supplied with Kiiroo's Compatible Stroker Case. I saw no sign of this on mine.
- Mechanical failures are usually preceded by a rattle. The failing part is a small coupler between the motor and drive screw. If yours starts rattling, contact support while it is still under warranty.
- Support is slow by email, and there is no telephone line. In the owner accounts I read, replacements did eventually arrive, and posting a public review sometimes sped things up.
Synced content
If you are buying it for synced video or scripts
I used the buttons and app, not synced video, VR or scripts, so this section does not come from my direct experience.
In the user reports I read, the Keon performed well with Kiiroo's own content and moderately paced scenes, but struggled with fast or detailed community scripts. The Keon's motor is told where to go and how fast, not when it must arrive, so third-party players have to estimate. Its practical ceiling is about four full strokes per second.
In the comparisons I read from owners of both toys, most preferred The Handy for fast scripts. I tested the Keon alone and with a partner, and recommend it for both.
Keon 2
Keon 1 or wait for Keon 2?
Kiiroo announced the Keon 2 in May 2026. On paper, it fixes most complaints about the original: USB-C, use while plugged in, a longer stroke, front controls and support for other brands' sleeves.
As I write this, it has not shipped to customers. The delivery date has slipped several times, and the current batch is listed for December 2026 to January 2027. Nobody outside Kiiroo has reviewed one.
I would not wait. The Keon 1 works, costs less and is available now. If running it from the wall or having a longer stroke matters more to you, waiting is reasonable.

A USB wall adapter
Why: None is included
Approx. price: A few dollars
Water-based lube
Why: You will use more than you expect

A towel you do not care about
Why: For your hands and the casing
Skip the mounts until you know you want one. It is easy to buy the whole ecosystem before learning how you prefer to use the toy.
Who should buy it
- You want stroking motion without doing the work yourself.
- You want to hand control to a partner and not know what comes next.
- You want to change sleeves over time.
- You have a private place to use it.
Who should not
- You live with housemates or have thin walls. This is my one firm no.
- You want something small, light or easy to hide. The Keon is none of those things.
- You are buying it mainly for fast scripted content.
Tips
Tips from ten sessions
- 1
Practise switching it into manual mode before the first real session.
- 2
Lube yourself and the sleeve first, then pick up the machine with dry hands.
- 3
Rest it on your thighs or pelvis. Let your hands steady it instead of carrying all the weight.
- 4
Tighten the end cap fully if, like me, you prefer more grip.
- 5
Try a medium stroke at fast speed to finish, or long and slow with frequent pauses to last.
- 6
Use the buttons when you are alone and the app when somebody else is driving.
- 7
Put it on charge as soon as you are done.
- 8
Dry the sleeve with both caps off, and never store it while it is still damp.

Questions
Questions people ask
Does it work without the app?
Yes. Manual mode uses only the buttons, and I prefer it that way when I am alone.
Can you use it while it charges?
No.
Is it loud?
It is audible and gets louder with speed. I found it fine in private, but would not use it with housemates around.
Will Fleshlight sleeves fit?
I only used the stock sleeve, so I cannot answer first-hand. Kiiroo sells a Compatible Stroker Case for other brands' sleeves. Owners report that standard Fleshlight inner sleeves fit, although sometimes too tightly.
Is it waterproof?
No. Wash the sleeve, wipe the machine.
How long does the battery last?
Kiiroo says 30 minutes to two hours depending on speed. I never managed to empty it during a session.
Is the stock sleeve tight?
No. I found it comfortable and very much on the mild side. I wanted a tighter one as well.
Bottom line
Final verdict

After ten sessions, I'd buy the Keon with my own money. The motorised stroke and partner control justify the price for me. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone sharing thin walls.
Kiiroo sent me this Keon free of charge for review. They had no say in what I wrote and did not see this before it was published.
