For the people doing the real work

Free for clinicians
and their patients.

If you're a therapist, counselor, or clinician, the full app is free. For you, and for the patients you work with. Email us with your credentials and we'll set you up.

Why

Why we do this

Kink comes up in the therapy room far more often than most training prepares clinicians for. A couple discloses a mismatch they don't have words for. A client is carrying shame about a preference that research has never linked to pathology. And when you look for something practical to hand them, most of what exists is either academic, outdated, or an internet forum you would never send a client to.

BeMoreKinky gives couples structure. Quizzes that let each partner answer privately, so nobody has to say a fantasy out loud before knowing it's shared. Guided exercises with warm-ups and debriefs built in. A shared vocabulary for conversations that usually stall on embarrassment. For couples in therapy, that structure does quiet, useful work between your sessions.

We already work with therapists. Some of the collaborators who review our content and features before they ship are practicing clinicians who can't put their names on this subject without professional consequences. Their fingerprints are on everything we make, and this page is partly their idea.

We would rather cost never be the reason a couple doesn't get a tool their therapist thinks would help. So for clinical use, the app is free. That's the whole pitch.

Confidentiality

Private by design

Your clients' privacy is not a feature we added, it's the architecture. Everything is encrypted with AES-256. In-app chat is end-to-end encrypted using the Double Ratchet protocol, the same approach Signal uses. We don't run ad tracking, and we can't read what a couple shares with each other even if we wanted to.

Nothing your clients do in the app comes back to you, and nothing comes back to us in a readable form. You can read exactly what we collect, what we can't see, and how the security model works on our privacy and safety page.

Eligibility

Who qualifies, and how it works

Licensed therapists, psychologists, counselors, social workers, certified sex therapists, physicians, nurses, and other credentialed clinicians. Any jurisdiction. If your work involves helping people with intimacy, relationships, or sexual health and you hold a license or certification for it, you almost certainly qualify.

  • Email us

Include your name, your license or certification type and jurisdiction, and a way to verify it, like a registry link or your practice website.

  • We verify

We only need enough to confirm you practice. Your credentials are used for verification and nothing else. We never publish or share them.

  • You're set up

We activate free access for you and give you a simple way to offer it to patients, without ever telling us who they are.

Questions

What clinicians ask us

Is it really free? What's the catch?+

Yes, really free. Full Premium access for you and for the patients you refer, with no time limit and no card required. We make our money from regular subscriptions. Comping clinical use costs us very little and we think it matters a lot.

Can you see my clients' data?+

No. Quiz answers and activity preferences are encrypted with AES-256, and in-app chat is end-to-end encrypted using the Double Ratchet protocol, the same approach Signal uses. We cannot read what your clients share with each other, and we never sell data to anyone.

Do I have to tell you who my clients are?+

No. We verify your credentials, not your caseload. We never ask for client names. You get a simple way to offer access, and who you offer it to stays between you and them.

Is this only useful for couples work?+

The app is built for two people and works best with a partner connected, but individuals use it too. The quizzes, learning content, and journal all work solo, and many people use them to understand their own preferences before bringing anything to a partner.

Does recommending the app mean I endorse BDSM as treatment?+

No. BeMoreKinky is an education and communication tool, not a treatment or a medical device. It does not diagnose anything and it does not replace clinical care. It gives couples structure and vocabulary between sessions. What you do with that in the therapy room is your call.

Who counts as a clinician?+

Licensed therapists, psychologists, counselors, social workers, certified sex therapists, physicians, nurses, and other credentialed clinicians, in any jurisdiction. If you are not sure whether you qualify, email us and ask. We would rather say yes than make you guess.
