UEROS Nexus Review: Portable Sex Machine Tested
The UEROS Nexus Power Sex Machine sits between a thrusting dildo and a full-frame sex machine. It's more powerful and adjustable than the former, but smaller and lighter than the latter.

The verdict
UEROS Nexus: the short version
I like the Nexus, but it won't suit everyone. It's a good pick if you want a compact, battery-powered thrusting machine to travel with and more of a "real machine" feel than a Lovense Gravity. I would look elsewhere if you want slow starts, unlimited runtime, the freedom to use any dildo, or a frame with the torque for heavy attachments. I've listed alternatives below.
In use
In use, I found the Nexus easy to carry and reposition. It also thrusts hard for its size. That suction base held onto every surface we tried as if its life depended on it.
There's a learning curve with the angles, the official runtime is only 50 minutes (ours never ran flat), you can't use it while it's plugged in, you're stuck with two proprietary attachments, and it can stall or cut out when it meets resistance or your position is slightly off. Ours stalled. Not constantly, but it definitely did. Other reviewers experienced the same thing.
Biggest drawback. Only two attachments, with no way to fit anything else. Honestly, this annoys me more than the stalling, the noise or the fast minimum speed. I can work around all of those. I cannot magically make a favourite dildo fit a proprietary connector.

What we found ourselves
Our hands-on testing of the UEROS Nexus
I approached the Nexus as something to use alone, with a partner and in a shared play setting. I base my verdict on that use.

What we found in testing
Stalling
It stalled sometimes. Moving further from the base and changing the angle fixed it.
Recovery after a stall
It resumed thrusting by itself once resistance eased. No restart was needed.
Suction base
Never let go on any surface we used. The hold was shockingly strong.
Twist-lock
Never detached. There was often a small amount of wobble or give at the joint.
Anal use
It worked, but stalled a lot. We kept the depth shallow and a partner held the unit throughout.
Noise
Clearly audible. Louder than our Hismith Pro 3.
Lowest speed
Reactions varied by person.
Attachments
Receivers preferred the vibrating head.
Heat
Warm after long sessions.
Cleaning
Easy.
Wear after 10+ sessions
Cosmetic only: the silicone attracts lint and dust, and the body has picked up scuffs.
Battery
Never ran flat in any session, so we have no runtime figure.
Design
Mixed reactions at the party. Some saw a cool spaceship, others thought it looked very odd. We like it.
What UEROS says it does
What comes in the UEROS Nexus case
The Nexus is a compact main unit on a stand, with two insertable heads and a lever-lock suction base. UEROS sells it as a portable sex machine for solo or partnered use, with 72 different setting combinations, adjustable angles and a carry case. It also calls it beginner-friendly and good for couples, with one partner on the remote. Some of that rings true. The "beginner-friendly" part needs a rather large asterisk.
Plenty packed in for the size: two attachments, a remote, an OLED display, a carry case, a travel lock, preferred and braking modes, and a lever-lock suction base.

Build quality
UEROS Nexus build quality
Despite being mostly plastic, it's clearly a designed product. While not everyone will love the design, I personally think it's quite creative, and feel sturdy.
The suction base is awesome. It held onto floors, tables, walls and tiles. It never came off during intense use.
It works handheld as well as mounted. The handle is easy to grip, but I preferred it handheld.
Setup and stalling
Setting up the UEROS Nexus
This is where it gets fiddly. There's a slight learning curve. The reviews on the UEROS site call the stand a little bit tricky at first. The joints work but are slow to adjust, and small changes in angle or distance decide whether the motor runs cleanly or stalls. When ours stalled, moving further from the base and changing the angle fixed it.
Once it's dialled in, it supports plenty of positions. Its portability and range of angles are the best arguments for the Nexus over a huge sex machine.
Our top tip. Start handheld. Learn how it handles before you mount it anywhere. It makes the fiddly stage far less fiddly.
Attachments
Does not support custom attachments
You only get two proprietary heads. There's no official adapter for ordinary third-party dildos. Personally, this is the biggest weakness of this tool for me.
UEROS lists a dual-motor vibrating attachment with 6 vibration modes and a rotating-bead attachment with 6 rotation modes, both with 150 mm insertable length. In our testing, receivers preferred the vibrating head.
Nobody sells spare or extra attachments, not even UEROS.
I cannot magically make a favourite dildo fit a proprietary connector.
Controls
UEROS Nexus controls and remote
We mostly used the on-body buttons, with a partner operating. The remote worked when tested but was rarely used in practice. The remote charges from the main unit, so there's no separate charger or coin cell to lose.
There's no quick off. To stop thrusting, you step down through every setting to zero, and pause only works while you hold the button. Not ideal when you want it to stop now.
The saved preferred mode is wiped when the battery runs flat, and since the display is usually out of sight during use, the low-battery warning is easy to miss.
Even the slowest speed may be too much for some people. Compared to some of my thrusting dildos, the lowest setting is quite intense!
Our comparison machine
UEROS Nexus vs Hismith Pro 3
We compared it with the Hismith Pro 3, which we also own (our full Hismith Premium 3.0 Pro review covers it in depth).
Nexus is better at
- Portability and storage
- Setup speed
- Positions and angles
Hismith Pro 3 is better at
- Power and torque
- Attachment choice
For me, the real difference is spontaneity. A big frame machine takes planning and room. The Nexus sets up fast enough to use on impulse, and sometimes impulse is exactly what you want.
Pros and cons
UEROS Nexus pros and cons after 10+ sessions
What's in the case
Plenty packed in for the size: two attachments, a remote, an OLED display, a carry case, a travel lock, preferred and braking modes, and a lever-lock suction base.
Suction and positioning
I loved the suction and the positioning, on smooth floors, tables, walls and improvised surfaces.
Thrust
The thrust is quite smooth.
Portability
It's small enough to travel with, and the storage case keeps it discreet. We could put it in a backpack and bring it to a play party.
Handheld use
It works handheld as well as mounted. The handle is easy to grip, but I preferred it handheld.
External toys
It plays well with external toys. We paired ours with bullets, air-pulse toys and full-size wands alongside it with no interference.
Remote charging
The remote charges from the main unit, so there's no separate charger or coin cell to lose.
Stalling
It can stall and cut out under resistance, especially when the angle, distance or lube isn't right.
Runtime
Runtime is officially 50+ minutes, and you can't use it while it charges, so long sessions are awkward (if you can handle longer than 50 minutes, which I can't).
Proprietary heads
You only get two proprietary heads. There's no official adapter for ordinary third-party dildos. Personally, this is the biggest weakness of this tool for me.
Lowest speed
Even the slowest speed may be too much for some people. Compared to some of my thrusting dildos, the lowest setting is quite intense!
No quick off
To stop thrusting, you step down through every setting to zero, and pause only works while you hold the button. Not ideal when you want it to stop now.
Preferred mode and battery warning
The saved preferred mode is wiped when the battery runs flat, and since the display is usually out of sight during use, the low-battery warning is easy to miss.
Textured surfaces
The suction base failed on a lightly textured wood side table in Lily O'Riley's test. It needs a properly smooth surface.
Spare attachments
Nobody sells spare or extra attachments, not even UEROS.
Safety
UEROS Nexus safety, hygiene and cleaning
UEROS says the Nexus is body-safe silicone and ABS. The main unit isn't waterproof; both attachments are IPX7. The heads are easy to clean. Wash them with mild soap and water or toy cleaner, dry them fully, and wipe the body with a damp cloth instead of rinsing it. We found cleaning easy.
Use water-based lube, because silicone lube can degrade silicone toys over time. Coffee & Kink says the attachments take condoms, and condoms plus water-based lube is the safe default, especially if more than one person is using it.
Anal use is the biggest grey area. We tried it carefully, kept the depth shallow and had a partner hold the unit throughout. It worked, but it stalled a lot. UEROS's product page neither approves nor explains anal use. Until UEROS says otherwise in writing, I wouldn't treat it as an anal-first machine.
As it doesn't have a flared base, I think there's a non-zero risk of it potentially popping off the machine to reasonably catastrophic consequences.

Questions
UEROS Nexus FAQs
Does the UEROS Nexus stall?
Sometimes. It can stall and cut out under resistance, especially when the angle, distance or lube isn't right. Ours stalled. Not constantly, but it definitely did. When ours stalled, moving further from the base and changing the angle fixed it, and it resumed thrusting by itself once resistance eased. No restart was needed.
How long does the battery last, and can you use it while it charges?
UEROS gives an official runtime of 50 minutes or more and a charge time of 90 minutes or less over Type-C. Ours never ran flat in any session, so we have no runtime figure. You can't use it while it charges, so long sessions are awkward. The saved preferred mode is wiped when the battery runs flat, and since the display is usually out of sight during use, the low-battery warning is easy to miss.
Can I use my own dildos with the Nexus?
No. You only get two proprietary heads, a dual-motor vibrating attachment and a rotating-bead attachment. There's no official adapter for ordinary third-party dildos, and nobody sells spare or extra attachments, not even UEROS. Honestly, this annoys me more than the stalling, the noise or the fast minimum speed. I cannot magically make a favourite dildo fit a proprietary connector.
Can you use the UEROS Nexus for anal?
Anal use is the biggest grey area. We tried it carefully, kept the depth shallow and had a partner hold the unit throughout. It worked, but it stalled a lot. UEROS's product page neither approves nor explains anal use. Until UEROS says otherwise in writing, I wouldn't treat it as an anal-first machine. As it doesn't have a flared base, I think there's a non-zero risk of it potentially popping off the machine to reasonably catastrophic consequences.
How loud is it compared with the Hismith Pro 3?
Clearly audible. Louder than our Hismith Pro 3. UEROS gives an official noise ceiling of 65 dB or less, and there's no measured figure yet.
What surfaces does the suction base hold on?
Ours never let go on any surface we used: floor tile and laminate; wall, glass, and mirror; furniture. The hold was shockingly strong. It needs a properly smooth surface, though. The suction base failed on a lightly textured wood side table in Lily O'Riley's test.
Who is the UEROS Nexus for?
I'd recommend it for people who travel or take toys to play parties, people in small homes with no room for a frame machine, couples and anyone who wants partner-operated play, people buying a first machine, and anyone who wants something that can be set up quickly. I would look elsewhere if you want slow starts, unlimited runtime, the freedom to use any dildo, or a frame with the torque for heavy attachments.
UEROS Nexus vs Lovense Gravity: which should I buy?
The Nexus is a good pick if you want a compact, battery-powered thrusting machine to travel with and more of a "real machine" feel than a Lovense Gravity. On the official figures, the Nexus is $329 with a 30 mm stroke at 260 to 350/min, and the Gravity is $139 with up to 140 strokes/min and a 3 cm thrust length. The Gravity is best for app control and quiet, on a budget.
Bottom line
Who the UEROS Nexus suits

I'd recommend it for these people:
- People who travel or take toys to play parties
- People in small homes with no room for a frame machine
- Couples, and anyone who wants partner-operated play
- People buying a first machine
- Anyone who wants something that can be set up quickly
