Hismith Premium 3.0 Pro Review: Sex Machine Tested

Sex machines have been on my radar for ages. I don't mean the flimsy, suction-cup-on-a-stick gadgets that judder across the floor the moment you lean into them. I mean proper, heavy, serious machines. The kind that make you think "this was engineered by someone who actually understands what it needs to do." After plenty of research, I went for the Hismith Premium 3.0 Pro, and after roughly ten sessions with it, solo and with a partner, I have a lot of thoughts.

Spoiler: I really like it. But it is not a plug-in-and-go experience, and anyone telling you otherwise is lying or hasn't actually used one.

The machine ships in completely plain packaging, which I appreciated. Although, it weighed enough that the delivery driver was like "what's in here!?"

Inside, you get the main machine unit, the power supply, a wired speed dial, a wireless remote, app connectivity, and a double-layer silicone dildo with a KlicLok fitting. There's also a carry bag, which is actually pretty useful given the size and weight of this thing.

And it is heavy. Beyond dolls, 11.5kg is definitely the heaviest toy I own. It feels like workshop equipment. Most sex toys I've owned feel like they'll fall apart within six months. This thing? It'll probably outlast my interest in it.

This is where the Premium 3.0 Pro really earns its keep. With three control methods (the wired dial, a wireless remote, and the Hismith app for iOS and Android), handing control to a partner is easy and hot.

We used it in a few configurations: me receiving while my partner controlled speed via the remote, and a double-penetration setup where the machine handled one angle while my partner handled the other. The DP configuration took some trial and error to get the positioning right. What I loved most was the power exchange element.

Not knowing when my partner would ramp the speed up or drop it right down? That added a psychological edge I wasn't expecting.

The app also supports remote control over distance. I tested the app locally and it does what it needs to do, if not the slickest interface I've ever used. It offers a set of built-in patterns plus custom modes. If you're specifically looking for livestream integration, music sync, or the kind of cam-platform interactivity that Lovense has built its ecosystem around, the Hismith app isn't there yet. For private remote control between partners though? Definitely good enough.

This was the biggest surprise. I expected a machine that thrusts at up to 267 RPM to sound like a machine. It doesn't. The Premium 3.0 Pro is insanely quiet. I'm not exaggerating when I say it is quieter than a lot of my vibrators. At the speeds I actually use (which, as I mentioned, is nowhere near max), you can barely hear it. Even cranked up, it produces a low rhythmic hum, not the industrial clattering I'd braced myself for. Hismith claims below 50 dB, which sounds about right.

The only noise issue I encountered was the frame rocking slightly against the floor at higher speeds with heavier attachments. Placing a folded towel or mat underneath sorted that out entirely.

I won't pretend to have personally tested every sex machine on the market, but I've done enough research and spoken to enough people to put the Premium 3.0 Pro in context.

Within Hismith's own range, the 3.0 Pro sits at the sweet spot. The cheaper models (the Auxfun Basic, the Pro Traveler) are easier to store and cheaper to buy, but they are noticeably less powerful and less refined. The Premium 4.0 is very similar on paper (same motor, same stroke range) but adds a modular design and an upgraded control box. Hismith offered to send both to me, and I ended up picking the 3.0. If you want to go crazy and have the money to spend, Servok is the real step up: a servo-driven machine that lets you change stroke length in real time while it's running, via the app. That's exactly the feature I keep wishing the 3.0 Pro had. But the Servok is significantly more expensive and heavier, and for most people, the manual pre-set stroke on the 3.0 is a minor inconvenience, not a dealbreaker.

Against competitors, the F-Machine Pro 4 wins on sheer mechanical engineering and is reportedly even quieter, but it's in a higher price bracket and uses Vac-U-Lock rather than KlicLok. Lovense's sex machine is stronger on app ecosystem and creator features but doesn't outclass the Hismith on build quality. I've also bought a machine on AliExpress for a couple hundred bucks and while it worked really well initially, it broke after four uses and the seller wouldn't respond to me.

So, net net, the Premium 3.0 Pro sits in the middle: serious hardware, wide attachment compatibility, real power, and it doesn't cost four figures. Would I pay over a thousand more for slightly more configurability? Probably not.

After ten sessions, here is what has annoyed me.

It is heavy and bulky. 11.5 kg doesn't sound like much until you're hauling it out of a cupboard and putting it away again afterwards. Limited storage? Need to be discreet? Factor that in. You can (of course) take it apart, but I don't want to be doing set-up during a session.

The learning curve is real. Sessions one through three were more about calibration than pleasure. That's normal for any full-size machine, but it's worth knowing before you buy rather than after.

The depth is manual only. I mentioned this earlier and it really is my biggest gripe. You can set the stroke depth, which is great, but you have to do it by hand on the beam with the machine off. I would have loved to be able to adjust depth from the remote or the app, the same way you control speed. In those moments where everything is building and you just want a little bit more, having to stop and fiddle with the beam is awkward.

I didn't find it so bad with vaginal play as I could take it all, but with anal, it's quite sensitive and your depth can change dramatically in a session. More on anal, the difficulty isn't just the stock dildos (though those are a problem on their own, as I covered above). It's getting the angles right. The machine is designed to thrust in a fairly limited range of positions, and configuring it for anal required so much setup and fiddling that by the time I'd got it somewhere usable, the mood had largely evaporated. Plenty of anal queens (and kings) I know love it, but it takes me a long time before I can take any serious punishment down there.

The stock dildos won't suit everyone. They're firm, the shape is not ideal for anal, and there's no softer option in the box. Budget for at least one additional attachment, and make sure you're getting the adapter if it's not included in your bundle.

The app is fine but nothing special. It works. Compared to Lovense's app ecosystem, it's less polished, fewer integrations. I don't care for my purposes. But if app features matter to you, that's worth knowing before you buy.
