It’s taboo in a reality-bending sense, but not morally – just creative. However, it can actually build empathy: you literally walk (and shag) a mile in your partner’s shoes (or body). Some couples do this to better understand each other’s arousal. You might ask things like “How does it feel when I do this to you?” while being them. It’s very meta. And you might discover new appreciation for what your own body looks/feels like from an outside perspective.
