Where the yes, maybe and no numbers come from

The numbers come from the BeMoreKinky app, where people mark activities yes, maybe or no. Each kink on this list is matched to the app activities that involve it. Among the people who rated at least one of them, we show the share who said yes, maybe and no, with each person counted once.

The app only shows people some of its activities, so these are shares of the people who rated a kink, not of everyone. Interest is the average star rating, from 1 to 5, that people gave with a yes. Giving and receiving split the same answers by the side of the activity people rated.

A kink shows no numbers when the app has no matching activity, when too few people rated it, or when it is one of a few sensitive kinks we keep private.
